FAQs

Questions, answered

The things locals ask us most.

Do you offer home visits, or do I bring my computer in?
Both — drop into our Oatley shop or book a home visit across the St George and Sutherland Shire. Many issues are also solved remotely, often within the hour.
My laptop is slow — should I fix or replace it?
Usually worth fixing: it's often a failing drive, low memory or malware. A same-day SSD/RAM upgrade transforms most machines for far less than a new one — and we'll advise honestly either way.
Do you support both Windows and Apple Macs?
Yes — Windows PCs, laptops and Apple Mac (MacBook, iMac, Mac Mini). We're a Microsoft Solutions Partner and certified across both.
Can you remove a virus without losing my files?
Yes — we safely remove viruses, spyware and ransomware, then secure and harden your device.
Can you recover photos from a broken laptop?
Often, yes — from failing drives, dead laptops and deleted files, with secure, private handling. Bring it in promptly.
How much does home IT support cost?
Transparent — we explain the issue and cost before starting, with no hidden fees. Most jobs are a fixed quote after diagnosis.
Which areas do you cover?
Oatley, St George, the Sutherland Shire and greater Sydney, onsite and remotely.
